Purchasing
* Shopping at Chic Home is very secure as we are a certified secure website and a verified Paypal site. Paypal provides
a safe, quick and simple way to purchase online, using secure SSL encryption to protect your private information. We accept credit
cards, debit cards and e-checks. It is not necessary to have a paypal account when checking out you will be prompted to register,
sign in to your account or you can choose the credit card icon. Orders are processed within 1-5 working days. Custom and handmade
orders may take an additional 1-3 weeks.
* We also accept personal checks and money orders with a 7 - 10 day delay in shipping while
they clear. Please contact me to make sure item is still available and so I can place a hold on item until payment is received.

Ordering
* Placing an order through our shopping cart is as secure as ordering by phone, but we do realize
that sometimes you may have questions, want to speak to or place your order with a live person.
* Please call our customer service
number at (951)927-9510 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm PST. If you call after hours or if no one is
available to assist please leave a detailed message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
Returns and Refunds
* Your satisfaction
is important to us. New items are 100% Guaranteed. You must contact us within 3 days of delivery regarding any returns. Refunds will
be made through paypal or as a store credit. Returned items should be packaged securely in their original packaging and in original
condition and must be insured for the value of the item unless other arrangements with us have been made. Returned items must be received
within 14 days of original purchase. Lost or damaged items shipped without shipping insurance are not subject to our return or refund
policy.
* All returns are subject to approval and require an authorization number.
* Antiques, Vintage, Custom, Special Order
and Painted White pieces are one of a kind and sold as is. Any nicks, chips, dents and dings will be noted in descriptions to the
best of our ability.
Measuring Furniture
* It is very important to measure correctly and carefully when ordering furniture from Chic
Home!
* The measurements are listed for our furniture items, please take into consideration the dimensions for doorways, entryways,
stairways and spaces with banisters or corners, fixtures and any other obstacles that may interfere with the pathway from our delivery
truck to where you want your new furniture placed.
Shipping
* Domestic shipping for new and vintage accessories and home decor is done via USPS, UPS and Fedx within 3 days of receiving
your order.
* We do not offer shipping outside the continental U.S.
* All items must be insured.
* Shipping for our large items, furniture
and antiques will require a shipping surcharge in addition to our regular shipping charges at checkout. Items requiring extra shipping
or freight are noted in their descriptions. The surcharges are billed for separately after purchase or you can request an invoice
for purchase with freight included.
We ship blanket wrapped,boxed or crated via freight carrier, we have two freight services we use,
but you have the option of using your preferred shipping company and making the arrangements for pick up and delivery.
* We ship to
residential and business addresses. Residential addresses may require additional charges.
* We are not responsible for miscommunication
between freight carrier and recipient.
* Please inspect all shipments and furniture thoroughly immediately on delivery and note any
damage incurred to the driver.
* Delivery discrepancies, damages and charges are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier once
merchandise has been accepted and left our facility.
* Some shipments are sent freight collect but must be arranged in advance before
ordering.
* All prices for shipping are subject to change without notice.
* All dimensions are approximate to within one inch.
* Pick
up from our location is available at no extra charge. Please call first.
* If your piece incurs damages during transit, the freight
company will be responsible for having the piece repaired and returned to the manufacturer's standards at their own expense.
Damages
and Claims
* Damages sustained in transit are the sole responsibility of freight carrier.
* If packaged item is dented, opened, punctured
or looks as if damages may have occurred during transit, please examine in the presence of driver.
* All damages must be noted on
freight bill at time of delivery and taken up with the carrier immediately. DO NOT SIGN bill until items have been inspected!
* Notate
any visibly damaged cartons, or shortages directly on the bill of lading and keep all packing materials.
* After furniture has been
accepted by customer, we no longer assume responsibility for the item.
* Our furniture, one of a kind and vintage pieces are inspected
prior to shipping and is accepted by the carrier in good condition.
Once carrier has accepted freight, our responsiblity ends.
* No
returns will be accepted for any of our one of a kind, custom furniture or special order pieces.
* A claim will have to be filed with
the shipping company
* We make every effort to get our items to you on time. Items that we have in stock will ship out within five
days unless otherwise noted. However some of our other items are custom order and handmade and shipped from the artists, this may
take 2 - 3 weeks for delivery. These items will be identified in the descriptions.
* Occassionally issues arise that are beyond our
control which require longer production times. If this is the case you will be notified promptly.
