We at Shabby Rose Cottage are committed to reducing our footprint on the Earth's environment. Offering antique and vintage items reused and repurposed is our biggest contribution. As part of our rehab for our vintage items this year we will be using all water based paints and finishes with little or no odor and are currently testing use on items painted with a new non-toxic paint.

   Shabby Rose Cottage is constantly looking for new resources to replace our manufactured items with items that are manufactured green and will continue to search out those companies, with this in mind our custom furniture is made from recyled woods.
   We use biodegradeable cornstarch peanuts where possible but we also feel that reusing others peanuts or turning them into a peanut recycling center when they cannot be used due to condition is also a step towards reducing the amount of peanuts made and sold, of course they aren't as pretty as our pink peanuts but we think well worth the sacrifice. We reuse boxes when condition allows and recycle when they have reached the end of their use.
   We are constantly looking for ways to reduce our impact on our environment and hope that you will implement steps to "Go Green" with us.
